What Is a Sales Tax Notice?
At its core, a sales tax notice is an official document sent from the state tax collector informing you of a tax situation that you need to know about. The notice may tell you that going forward, you must pay your ecommerce use taxes on a different schedule than you have been paying them. It may tell you that economic nexus thresholds have changed, that sales tax registration filing fees have gone up or it may inform you of one of a thousand other changes.
When you read your sales tax notice, you may wonder what it means for you. That’s what SalesTaxSolutions.US is here for — to interpret your sales tax notices for you.
