At SalesTaxSolutions.US, we understand better than most that many facets of sales tax are needlessly frustrating. To combat these challenges our clients have to face, we’ve been hard at work developing and enhancing our very own client portal, and we have many exciting additions on the horizon.
In this article, we’ll go over the new checkout process feature for the client portal, estimated for release in late March or early April. This new feature will make it easier for existing clients to manage services right from their portal account.
The checkout feature will handle everything from registering for new tax accounts to paying for services, all without the hassle of additional emails and phone calls. This exciting upgrade will save you time and headaches while you expand your sales tax needs.
How to Add Services
With the new services checkout, clients will have the ability to add a variety of new services directly through the client portal. Gone are the days of needing to contact a SalesTaxSolutions.US team member directly to add the following services:
- State Registrations
- Return Filings
- Nexus Reviews
- Voluntary Disclosure Agreements
Adding services is as simple as a few clicks of your mouse. All you need to do is select Add to jurisdictions, and you will be able to select a Jurisdiction from the dropdown menu. You can select that you are already registered in that location, need to be registered, and whether you also want us to file the returns for that state.
Nexus reviews and voluntary disclosure agreements are available at the bottom of the page under Additional Services.
The Checkout Process
Along with selecting services comes the ability to pay for them, just like any other online checkout.
As services are added, they collect in the right hand of the page under Order Summary. Once you are happy with your selection, click Next at the bottom right hand of the screen. From there you will be taken to the Payments page.
*Note that return filing fees are an estimatated subscription fee. Per-return cost is not included.
We accept most credit cards with no additional fees. This means no waiting for invoices or worrying about whether payments will clear! This checkout process is designed to significantly improve your experience, getting you what you need faster and with less effort.
Rest assured that payment security as a top priority in the client portal. All payments are processed using industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect client financial information. Users can rest assured that payment details are safe and secure.
Estimated Launch Date
The services checkout currently has an estimated launch date of May 2024.
